Time Is Up!
If you have been active on this site for the past few months, you would know that I release an article before every major event that I play in that showcases my EXACT deck list. Well, this tournament is no different and I am here to share my juicy play with you. I am gonna be honest, I am sick, have had a rough day, and I kinda just wanna go to bed. That being said, let’s jump right into it.

My Play for Collinsville
After testing for a while and running around in circles, I arrived at a certain conclusion. I decided that I wanted to go with my comfort pick and you all know what that means... Oh, and before we jump in, I might watch the stream for the Cannes, FR Special Event to see if anything gets brewed up. IDK, I am super tired, let's see how it goes. Jumping in...

I said the deck was dead, I might be right, I might be wrong! The metagame has seemed to shift into a mix of Zoroark GX (SLG; 53) , Zapdos (TM; 40) / Jirachi (TM; 99) , and a handful of other decks. If that holds true, I am gonna have a good day, well, at least if I can avoid the Pikachu & Zekrom GX (TM; 33) decks that ended my strong run at OIC. I have added in an Alolan Muk (SUM; 58) to deal with all of the Jirachi (TM; 99) / Absol (TM; 88) techs running around, I can search out Alolan Grimer (SUM; 57) with Mysterious Treasure (FLI; 113) , and Ditto Prism Star (LT; 154) is there for good measure.
I dislike cutting the two Choice Band (GRI; 121) from my list last week, but how else can I justify such a large change to the core strategy of my deck. I didn’t run Choice Band (GRI; 121) at LAIC and made Top Eight at that event so maybe I will be fine. I am honestly taking a bit of a gamble by running Blacephalon GX (LT; 52) at this event, but I am fine to sink with the deck that I have grown from the ground up. One last hurrah for the Blacephalon GX (LT; 52) king, let’s make it happen.
Sleep Time
This article is much shorter than usual, but I am not feeling my best. I am hoping to wake up in seven hours and feel much better. I’m sure I’ll be fine. Well, catch my hot takes after the event next week with my upcoming FREE Standard Metagame Analysis.
